Colorectal Cancer Awareness
Tell5Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization raising money for cancer patients, research and colorectal cancer education. We know the effects cancer has on many friends and families throughout the country.
Learn more about the warning signs of colorectal cancer as well as the importance of regular screenings, starting at age 45.
I went in for a routine colonoscopy at the request of my doctor at the age of 45 and I came out with cancer that had already spread to the liver...stage IV. Had I waited until 50, the outcome would have been poor.
In 2022, I was in ideal shape, running multiple miles each week, lifting weights and training for a marathon. I felt great and I had no symptoms. I went in because of my doctor's insistence and I thank her for her persistence.
The first question everyone asked was, "How can I help." I want everyone to tell 5 friends to make sure they get a colonoscopy if they have symptoms or when they turn 45.
Our goal is to support cancer charities that provide assistance to cancer patients & their families and support cancer research.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the lives of those with cancer and will help fund our mission.
To date, we have raised over $26,000! We have raised enough to send 20 kids to camp and buy over 120 backpacks! Thank you to all that have supported this cause!
COMING SOON! The New York Marathon Fundraiser - November 5, 2023!
Proceeds will be split between Children's Cancer Connection and the I Know Jack Foundation
