Tell5Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization raising money for cancer patients, research, and colorectal cancer education. We know the effects cancer has on many friends and families throughout the country.
Learn more about the warning signs of colorectal cancer as well as the importance of regular screenings, starting at age 45.
I went in for a routine colonoscopy at the request of my doctor at the age of 45 and I came out with cancer that had already spread to the liver...stage IV. Had I waited until 50, the outcome would have been poor.
In 2022, I was in ideal shape, running multiple miles each week, lifting weights and training for a marathon. I felt great and I had no symptoms. I went in because of my doctor's insistence and I thank her for her persistence.
The first question everyone asked was, "How can I help."
I encourage everyone to tell five friends to prioritize a colonoscopy if they experience symptoms or upon reaching the age of 45.
Our mission is to support cancer charities that provide assistance to cancer patients & their families and support cancer research.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the lives of those with cancer and will help fund our mission. To date, the foundation has raised more than $34,000 in funds, while Phil has personally raised over $31,000 by participating in marathons to support cancer patients! Our fundraising efforts are dedicated to offering financial support to individuals in need of assistance for colonoscopies, procuring essential supplies, and providing financial support to those battling cancer.
